Volunteer Opportunities
Levo is a volunteer-driven organization. Levo offers volunteer events for people looking to join us in building and distributing hydroponics, planting seeds, preparing plants, maintaining neighborhood farms, and supporting our community. Every volunteer hour invested translates to:
Local Resilience: Creating a decentralized food supply that is less vulnerable to global disruptions.
Education in Action: Turning the farm into a living classroom where sustainable practices are demonstrated, not just taught.
Make a Difference
Levo International was founded in 2016 as a means to empower people to end poverty. Levos use hydroponics to create produce to sustain food security in the city of Hartford. Levo’s model is one that can be recreated globally to make change. When volunteers help build neighborhood farms and care for seedlings, they are investing in public health. They are ensuring that fresh greens, herbs, and vegetables are available to families who might otherwise rely on processed foods.
What We Are Working On
NH Farming Initiative
Levo expects to expand our footprint in 2026, but has for the Spring of 2025 secured a combined 3.5 acres of land for the North Hartford Farming Initiative.
Research & Development
It is not common for a “non-profit” organization to have a well funded R&D department which is capable of creating new innovations and discoveries.
